| On November 04-17, 2002
I went on a Dxpedition to southern México and Guatemala. I flew
by British Airways to Mexico City where I had a pleasant visit to the home
of DX-er Martín Iraizos whom I earlier had met at the National Mexican
DX Meetings in Tehuacán in 1998 and in Oaxaca in 2000. After seeing
some local sights, I went by bus along the Panamerican Highway all the
way to Guatemala City from where I flew back to Denmark.These two countries
are fantastic to visit for their gorgeous nature, impressive archeological
sites and colourful ingenious Indian tribes which still live nearly as
they did during the past centuries. |
